Doha, February 23, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha on Monday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar.
At Hamad International Airport, the Prime Minister was received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Amir, and senior diplomatic officials.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the Qatari Amir focusing on economic cooperation, energy partnership, trade, investment, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
The visit underscores the deep brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar and their shared commitment to strengthening multifaceted cooperation.
