CTD Defuses Powerful Bomb Near Police Line in Kalat

KALAT: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) successfully foiled a major terror bid after defusing a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) near the Police Line area.

According to officials, the explosive device was planted beside the main road and weighed several kilograms. A CTD bomb disposal team promptly reached the site and safely neutralized the device, preventing a potential tragedy.

Law-enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to trace those responsible. Security across Kalat has been placed on high alert following the incident.
