Islamabad Police Arrest Son for Killing Father in Cold-Blooded Murder; Homicide Unit Recovers Weapon

In a swift and decisive operation, Islamabad Police’s Tarnol Police Station and Homicide Unit have arrested two suspects — including the victim’s own son — in connection with the brutal murder of a man identified as Hayat Khan.

According to the police spokesperson, the main accused Suleman Khan alias Jabar Khan and his accomplice Abdullah fatally shot Hayat Khan within the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station. The incident shocked the local community due to the involvement of the victim’s son in the heinous crime.

Police teams, employing modern investigative and scientific techniques, tracked down and apprehended both suspects in record time. The murder weapon, a pistol, was also recovered from their possession.

DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq commended the officers for their professionalism and quick action, reaffirming that the accused will be challaned in court on the basis of solid evidence to ensure they receive the punishment they deserve.
