Under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the province has entered a new era of digital transformation and modern governance, aligning administrative transparency and public service delivery with advanced technology to improve institutional efficiency and ensure fast, easy, and transparent access to government services.
The Bureau of Statistics of the Planning & Development Department has achieved a landmark by launching the Balochistan Statistics Dashboard, consolidating district-level data, development indicators, and policy decisions on a unified platform. Powered by artificial intelligence, the system enables measurable progress, transparent monitoring, and evidence-based decision-making across all development stages.
Governance reforms have been further strengthened through the PSDP Automation System and Finance Department digital initiatives, including online filing, billing, budget management, and the innovative Finance GPT Chatbot, which have improved efficiency, transparency, accessibility, and reduced corruption.
For youth empowerment, DigiBiz Balochistan has trained thousands in freelancing, digital marketing, and e-commerce, opening new job opportunities and linking them to global digital markets.
In education, real-time school monitoring and GPS-based attendance systems have significantly improved school restoration, teacher attendance, and overall educational standards. Public services have also been modernized through the Excise & Taxation Department, providing smart cards, online tax payments, and biometric verification. The Water Resources Information System ensures data-driven planning for effective water management through real-time data and GIS mapping.
Urban governance has advanced with Quetta’s Smart Traffic Management Center, improving traffic monitoring, accident prevention, mobility, and public safety.
These initiatives reflect a forward-looking vision transforming Balochistan into a province driven by data-based governance, economic empowerment, and modern public services, with innovation as its strength, transparency as its identity, and progress as its defining journey.
