Gadhi Khairo/Hyderabad, November 15, 2025: Abdul Qadeer, a young student of Sindh University from Gadhi Khairo, went missing on Thursday while returning home from Bright Future College, Bhitai Nagar, Hyderabad, after his college leave. No information about his whereabouts has been reported so far.
The family of the missing student, along with notable members of the Umarani tribe, have issued a public statement urging authorities, including SSP Hyderabad, DIG Hyderabad, and IGP Sindh, to take immediate notice of the case. They stressed the importance of locating Abdul Qadeer Umarani safely and returning him to his family.
The statement further warned that failure to act promptly may lead to widespread protests in various cities of Sindh and Balochistan, which the tribe says is their constitutional and legal right.
Authorities are reportedly looking into the matter, and investigations are underway to trace the student’s location.
