The Department of Human Rights, Government of Sindh, will observe a week-long Human Rights Awareness Week starting in the first week of December, marking World Human Rights Day 2025.
The campaign aims to promote understanding of fundamental rights among students and the wider public. Primary school students will explore human rights through creative arts and visual expression, while secondary and higher secondary students will participate in painting and speech competitions. Outstanding performers will receive awards.
To engage the broader community, a one-kilometer human rights awareness walk will also be organized. High-profile participants are expected, including the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Human Rights, Rajveer Singh Sodha, along with human rights advocates, government officials, and community leaders.
The week will officially begin with the issuance of circulars and notifications, with preparations for student competitions already underway.
