Quetta, 2 December 2025: Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, announced that 150 constables were recruited entirely on merit, marking a milestone in transparent governance. Commending the performance of Additional IG and Commandant Balochistan Constabulary, he said merit-based recruitment strengthens institutional professionalism. The IG highlighted that educated youth not only serve the nation but also contribute to maintaining peace and stability, underlining the government’s priority of fostering capable human resources in policing.
