Naseerabad – December 5:
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Captain (R) Zulfiqar Ali Karar, Assistant Commissioner Dera Murad Jamali, Bahadur Khan Khosa, continued the second day of the anti-encroachment drive with an inspection visit to the Main Bazaar.
During the visit, all registered vendors were found operating within their designated spaces, while several illegal pushcart owners immediately retreated from the Sindh–Balochistan National Highway upon noticing the AC’s vehicle, returning to their assigned limits. The municipal committee and traffic police also assisted in the large-scale operation carried out the previous day.
AC Bahadur Khan Khosa emphasized that no encroachments will be tolerated on the national highway under any circumstances. He added that daily operations will continue to ease difficulties faced by citizens and commuters. He noted that encroachments disrupt traffic flow and severely impact commercial activity.
