AJK PM Faisal Mumtaz Rathore Highlights Achievements, Reaffirms Public Trust

Hajira, AJK: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, stated that long-standing state issues can be effectively resolved under the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Addressing a reception at the PWD Guest House in Hajira, he emphasized that the current government has achieved in two and a half weeks what was not accomplished in the past two and a half years, implementing practical measures to meet public expectations.

PM Rathore outlined several key administrative and developmental initiatives, including permanent approvals for ADC and XEN posts, construction of a bridge over Rangar Nala, addressing doctor shortages in THQ hospitals, inclusion of the Tarar Khul Water Supply Scheme in the next fiscal year, and the immediate commencement of the Hajira bypass. He also announced the elevation of Dhar Bazaar to the status of a sub-district and assured that agreements with the Public Action Committee would be fully implemented without delay.

He highlighted that the restoration of the political system has rebuilt public and party worker confidence, reflecting the revival of political engagement in the region despite harsh winter conditions. PM Rathore congratulated Field Marshal Asim Munir on becoming Pakistan’s first Chief of Defense Forces and reaffirmed the AJK government’s commitment to public service. He expressed confidence that PPP will retain governance in the 2026 elections, with strong candidates prepared to serve the people and continue developmental progress
