Pishin, 7 December 2025:
Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, visited Pishin on Saturday, where he was welcomed by DPO Pishin Abdul Aleem Achakzai and senior officers. The visiting IG chaired a security briefing at the DPO office, where the district’s overall law and order situation was reviewed.
During his visit, IG Tahir addressed the police durbar and met personnel integrated from the Levies force. He emphasized that to eliminate terrorism, the police must operate with determination, courage, and public trust. Officers were instructed to prioritize the protection of lives and property and to carry out their duties diligently. IG Tahir reiterated the police force’s commitment to strengthening public confidence while maintaining law and order and praised the strategic adjustments made by Balochistan Police despite limited resources. The visit concluded with inspections of Pishin Police Lines and the Smart Police Station.
