Cold, Partly Cloudy Weather Likely Across Balochistan; Rain Expected in Several Districts

Quetta: According to the Regional Meteorological Centre Balochistan,

cold and partly cloudy weather is expected to prevail in most
districts of the province on Thursday, with a continued drop in
temperatures due to cold winds.

The Met Office forecast said that similar weather conditions are
likely to persist on Friday in most parts of the province. However,
rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder is expected during the
evening and night in Chagai, Noshki, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Gwadar,
Kalat, Mastung, Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Ziarat, Pasni,
Harnai and Zhob districts.

During the past 24 hours, most districts of Balochistan experienced
dry and cold weather, while very cold conditions were recorded at
night in the northern and northwestern parts of the province. The
lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Kalat at 2 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department further reported that no rainfall was
recorded in any district of Balochistan during the last 24 hours.
