Practical work has officially commenced on the comprehensive master plan for Dera Murad Jamali, the headquarters city of Nasirabad district, aimed at resolving longstanding civic issues.
Executive Engineer Roads Nasirabad Abdul Rehman Khan Kakar said the master plan was designed in line with modern urban requirements and the city’s rapidly growing population. Under Phase One, projects include installation of a clean drinking water supply system, effective drainage for rain and sewage water, street paving, and proper street lighting, particularly in the eastern parts of the city.
He credited Provincial Irrigation Minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani for his special interest, close supervision, and timely release of funds, which enabled the project’s launch. Abdul Rehman Kakar assured that all development works would be completed transparently, on merit, and within the stipulated timeframe.
Public circles welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that the master plan would significantly improve living standards and place Dera Murad Jamali on a sustainable path of urban development.
