Naseerabad: Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Capt. (R) Zulfiqar Ali Karar, has announced a strict zero-tolerance policy on teacher absenteeism, stressing that all educational staff must perform their duties diligently to improve learning outcomes across the district.
Chairing a meeting of the District Education Group, DC Karar reviewed the implementation of previous directives and received updates from officials representing the Treasury Office, district and tehsil education departments, RTCM, and other relevant authorities.
The Deputy Commissioner directed that teachers found repeatedly absent will face stringent action under the BEDA Act, including the immediate issuance of show-cause notices. He emphasized that consistent attendance is essential for enhancing the quality of education and warned that negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Officials were further instructed to strengthen school monitoring, prioritize students’ academic progress, and enforce strict discipline in all government schools. The initiative aims to elevate educational standards and ensure accountability across the district.
