Rawalpindi, 5 Feb 2026: On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu reiterated the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The Armed Forces strongly condemned human rights violations in IIOJK, including extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detentions, and demographic manipulation, calling them a blatant disregard for international law.
They emphasized that a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute, in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions and Kashmiri aspirations, is vital for peace in South Asia. Pakistan remains committed to protecting its sovereignty while standing in solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle for freedom and dignity.
