KALAT, Feb 12: Deputy Commissioner Kalat Mehrullah Durrani has reaffirmed that the Ramadan Package will be delivered strictly on merit, ensuring that essential food supplies reach deserving families across the district without political pressure or unauthorized involvement.
An important meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner was held in Kalat to review arrangements for the Ramadan Package. The session was attended by Tehsildar Haji Abdul Ghaffar Luhari, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Khaliqabad Abdul Wahab Nechari, Chairman Municipal Committee Nawabzada Mir Shaib Jan Zehri, representatives of the District Council, Union Council Chairmen, MC Councilors and other local notables.
Participants discussed the government’s strategy to provide ration packages to underprivileged households during the holy month of Ramadan. Deputy Commissioner Durrani directed all Union Council Chairmen and Councilors to prepare precise and verified lists of needy families in their respective areas to facilitate timely and organized distribution.
He stressed that the initiative is intended solely to assist vulnerable segments of society and cautioned that any attempt at political interference or irregularity would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The deputy commissioner also called upon elected representatives and administrative officers to maintain close coordination and continuous oversight to ensure that aid reaches its rightful recipients efficiently.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment among officials to execute the Ramadan Package in a transparent and equitable manner, guaranteeing that deserving families in Kalat receive support during the holy month.
