Governor Mandokhail Urges Peace, Highlights Education as Catalyst for Balochistan’s Advancement

Quetta, February 13, 2026: Emphasizing that societal growth and prosperity hinge on non-violence, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail called on Balochistan’s citizens, particularly the youth, to embrace knowledge and skills as tools for progress and national development.
The Governor made these remarks while meeting with leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Labour Wing, including Provincial President Munir Ahmed Masoori Bugti, General Secretary Khan Musa Khan Khajjak, and Mir Zahoor Ahmed Magsi.
Highlighting the importance of higher education, Mandokhail praised Mir Chakar Khan Rind University as a vital institution for students from Sibi and across Balochistan, offering them avenues for academic achievement and professional growth. During the meeting, Munir Ahmed Masoori Bugti updated the Governor on the university’s educational standards, Vice Chancellor Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed’s performance, and ongoing challenges faced by students.
Governor Mandokhail stressed that both federal and provincial authorities are actively working to enhance educational quality and skill development across the province. He noted initiatives to equip students with modern facilities, as well as opportunities for education and employment abroad, allowing youth to gain exposure to advanced technologies and international expertise.
He urged Balochistan’s talented youth to harness their abilities in service of the nation, asserting that knowledge and technical skills are critical for strengthening Pakistan. The Governor emphasized that peace and non-violence remain essential foundations for the province’s overall development and public welfare.
Acknowledging the pivotal role of educators, Mandokhail also called on students to assume their national responsibility by fostering harmony and combating violence. He expressed optimism that young people across Balochistan would continue to pursue excellence in education and skills while actively contributing to peace and stability, ensuring sustained progress and prosperity for the country.
