Khuzdar Health Oversight: Deputy Commissioner Orders Strict Accountability and Service Improvements at Wadh Hospital

Khuzdar, February 18, 2026 – Acting on special instructions from Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Abdul Razaq Sasoli, Assistant Commissioner Wadh Akbar Ali Mazarzai conducted an unannounced inspection of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Wadh to ensure public health standards are maintained.
During the visit, the attendance registers of hospital staff were reviewed, and MS Dr. Abdul Rauf Mengal provided a detailed briefing on operational challenges and staffing issues. Akbar Ali Mazarzai emphasized that absenteeism among doctors and supporting staff will not be tolerated, and salaries of non-compliant employees will be docked. Senior officials will be informed of persistent vacancies and other critical gaps in service.
The Assistant Commissioner instructed that cleanliness standards be improved and that patients from remote areas receive timely treatment and assistance. He stressed that all necessary measures must be implemented to ensure adequate medical facilities, highlighting that doctors, as “nation’s healers,” should perform their duties diligently to prevent any inconvenience to patients.
He reaffirmed that, in line with CM Sarfraz Bugti’s vision, the Health Department will be modernized and strengthened to establish a healthier society across the province.
