Quetta, February 18, 2026 – Deputy Commissioner Quetta and Chairman of the District Price Control Committee have announced official prices for a range of essential food items across Quetta district and cantonment areas for Ramadan 2026, effective immediately until further notice.
The fixed rates include: Jalebi at Rs. 550 per kg, Aloo Pakora Rs. 530 per kg, Mix Pakora Rs. 530 per kg, Samosa Aloo Rs. 30 per piece, Samosa Qeema Rs. 10 per piece, Chicken Kachori (large) Rs. 120, Chicken Kachori (small) Rs. 100, Hotel Paratha Rs. 40 per piece, Milk Tea (200ml cup) Rs. 70, Pheeni (250g packet) Rs. 180, Fruit Chaat (portable) Rs. 170, Chana Chaat Rs. 120, Dahi Bhallay Rs. 150, Dates Grade I (Black) Rs. 700 per kg, Dates Grade II Rs. 450 per kg, Dates Grade III Rs. 350 per kg, Besan Rs. 250–300 per kg, and Black Tea / Green Tea (200ml cup) Rs. 40 each.
The district administration has instructed all shopkeepers to prominently display the official price lists. No vendor is permitted to charge above the fixed rates or provide underweight products. Violations will be dealt with under price control and hoarding laws. Citizens are urged to report any overpricing or short-weight sales to authorities to ensure swift enforcement.
