KILLA SAIFULLAH, March 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sagar Kumar held a meeting with Deputy District Council Chairman Ehsan Kakar and B&R Executive Engineer Hashim Kakar to review progress on development initiatives and address key infrastructure and public service concerns across the district.
During the discussion, Ehsan Kakar drew attention to the deteriorating condition of roads, persistent drainage issues and other civic problems affecting local communities. He stressed the importance of adopting effective measures to deliver essential services to residents, particularly in far-flung areas of the district.
Executive Engineer Hashim Kakar provided the Deputy Commissioner with an update on both ongoing and upcoming development schemes. He informed that work on major highways and link roads is currently in progress, while additional infrastructure projects are also under consideration to further improve connectivity in the region.
Deputy Commissioner Sagar Kumar reiterated the district administration’s commitment to promptly addressing public grievances and ensuring that development initiatives move forward efficiently. He instructed the concerned departments to maintain transparency in project execution and to complete the schemes within the stipulated timeframe.
He also made it clear that any negligence in projects intended for public welfare would not be tolerated, emphasizing that issues affecting residents would be handled on a priority basis.
The meeting concluded with a consensus to continue close coordination among the relevant authorities to advance development, strengthen infrastructure and enhance delivery of essential public services in the district.
