ZIARAT: March 24, 2026: Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat, Abdul Quddus Achakzai, highlighted the district administration’s ongoing initiatives to enhance the city’s natural charm and strengthen its tourism infrastructure during a meeting with local journalist Faiz Mohammad Faizani.
The discussion focused on addressing public concerns, improving civic amenities, and preserving Ziarat’s renowned scenic beauty. Deputy Commissioner Achakzai emphasized that upgrading the city’s visual appeal and ensuring uninterrupted essential services remain top priorities for the administration.
He stressed that any negligence in implementing development projects would not be tolerated, affirming that public service would always take precedence. Achakzai also acknowledged the crucial role of the media in boosting administrative efficiency through constructive feedback and active engagement.
“The media forms the backbone of society, and its collaboration allows the administration to tackle issues more effectively,” he stated. He further reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with media outlets to transform Ziarat into a model tourist city, offering visitors not only its natural beauty but also a high-quality, welcoming environment.
The meeting concluded with a shared agreement to continue collaborative efforts in addressing city growth and resolving public grievances, ensuring that Ziarat remains an attractive and well-preserved destination for tourists.
