Quetta and surrounding districts have reportedly witnessed a series of security-related incidents, according to local sources, including multiple blasts, railway track damage, and firing in several areas. However, authorities have not yet officially confirmed the scale or coordination of these incidents.
Local reports claim that railway tracks were damaged at multiple points in Quetta, while earlier incidents were also reported in areas including Tera Mile and Bhutto Landi in Nushki. The exact nature and timing of the alleged explosions remain unverified.
In separate claims, firing was reported in areas including Sariab and Wali Jet, with unconfirmed reports of explosions and gunfire in Kharan and Panjgur as well. Officials have yet to issue a consolidated statement on these developments.
Meanwhile, an incident was reported in the Agbargh Khoni Talab area under the jurisdiction of the Nohsar police station, where unidentified armed individuals allegedly opened fire on a police post and hurled a grenade, injuring a police officer identified as Abbas. The attackers reportedly fled after the incident and also set a private vehicle on fire.
Authorities are continuing investigations, and the situation remains fluid.
