Independent Report
SIBI, April 5: Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (R) Ilyas Kibzai took immediate notice of a social media report circulating about a graveyard in Sibi and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Following the directive, Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah conducted an on-site inspection and reviewed the situation in detail.
According to the district administration’s clarification, the caretaker of the graveyard explained that recent rainfall had softened the soil, resulting in a minor depression near one of the graves. This led to the settlement of the soil in that particular area.
The administration further stated that the claims circulating on social media are exaggerated and do not reflect the actual situation. It added that repair and restoration work of the affected grave is currently in progress to ensure proper maintenance and to address any concerns.
The district administration has urged the public to avoid sharing unverified information and to rely only on confirmed and authentic sources when disseminating news.
