LAHORE, April 19 — Punjab has granted in-principle approval for its first Sky Glass Bridge project in Kotli Sattian to boost tourism, officials said.

The decision was taken in a meeting co-chaired by Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif, reviewing progress on the Murree Protection and Rehabilitation Plan.

Authorities also approved new hospitality zones in suburban Murree and directed engagement of international experts to tackle landslides. Infrastructure upgrades, including road widening and a glass train project, were also discussed.

Officials said new parks, a wildlife facility, and a glamping village at Chewra Hill are planned, alongside a paragliding club. A bulk water supply feasibility from the River Jhelum is due by April 30.

A Facility Management Unit was also approved to oversee construction and maintenance of public infrastructure across the province.
