Balochistan Governor Announces Youth Employment Initiative in Budget 2026-27

Quetta, May 31, 2026: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that a transformation-focused agenda for youth empowerment and employment generation has been prioritized in the upcoming budget 2026-27.

He made these remarks while speaking to Pakistan Muslim League-N parliamentarians during a meeting at the Governor House Quetta. The Governor said that special attention is being given to addressing rising unemployment in the province through new job-oriented initiatives aimed at providing dignified employment and modern career pathways to thousands of young people.

He stated that youth are being recognized as key contributors to both present development and the future progress of the province. He added that under the new plan, targeted programs are being designed to equip young people with modern skills aligned with the demands of the 21st-century job market.

The Governor highlighted that more than ten medical courses and diploma programs have been launched at Bolan Medical University, which are expected to create employment opportunities upon completion. He further said that investments are also being made across public sector universities in professional training, online IT courses, and medical diploma programs.

Jaffar Khan Mandokhail emphasized that integrating modern skills with quality education would enable youth to compete in dynamic job markets. He urged young people to utilize their potential and actively contribute to national development.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering youth through education, skill development, and employment opportunities to ensure a more capable and progressive future workforce.
