PTI Sindh Calls for Constitutional Supremacy, Political Stability and Release of All Political Prisoners

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh called for constitutional supremacy, an independent judiciary, democratic governance, transparent elections and the protection of fundamental rights, describing them as essential for restoring political stability and economic confidence in the country.

He announced that the party would launch a peaceful movement from August 5 for the restoration of the Constitution, democracy and the public mandate. Sheikh also demanded the release of all political prisoners, an end to political victimisation, relief from rising inflation, abolition of the petroleum levy, and stronger measures to address terrorism and improve public security.

He urged the government to prioritise national interests, reduce the financial burden on citizens and adopt policies aimed at economic recovery, public welfare and institutional stability.
