ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar has reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperative federalism and enhancing coordination between the federation and the provinces.
Chairing a meeting of the Pre-Council of Common Interests (CCI) Committee, Dar said effective intergovernmental coordination remains vital for advancing decisions in the national interest.
Following detailed deliberations, the committee recommended that the Prime Minister, in his capacity as Chairman of the Council of Common Interests, convene the council’s next meeting in August.
