It should be noted that for the last fifteen days this was at least 6th incident of fire in the forests of Galiyats and police was in search of unknown culprits where they succeeded to arrest accused Abdul Qayum son of sna Muhammad.

Due to fire at different points, A large number of wild animals were killed. A residential house was also burnt to ashes. which has destroyed large trees as well as small plantation of pine, cedar, Bayar, Kikar, wild mulberry and other cheeses were also burnt to ashes. Fire and smoke are visible everywhere in the area. The population in the vicinity has also been seriously threatened . Rescue 1122 and others don’t have the special arrangements to reach at sites which needs badly by the forest and GDA.

Afforestation done with crores of rupees seems to be almost finished. Birds of prey have been exposed to the flames, as the fire is approaching the villages, local people are putting out the fire with their help. The relevant departments including district administration, forest, GDA are looking helpless in the entire situation to extinguish the fire.
