The Balochistan Assembly adopted a condolence resolution in recognition of the services of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here in it’s session on Monday.

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly adopted a condolence resolution in recognition of the services of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto here in it’s session on Monday.

The Speaker Provincial Assembly, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai was in the chair.
The Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti tabled the resolution highly commending the services of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for the country.
Expressing views on the resolution, Provincial Minister for Irrigation, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani paid glowing tributes to the martyr Benazir Bhutto saying that there have been great services of Bhutto family for the democracy in country.
He said that the credit of atomic and missile programme goes to the Mohtarma BB Shaheed.
He said that Mohtarma BB was the forceful voice of the oppressed segments and women of the country.
He strongly condemned the assassination of Mohtarma BB.
Meanwhile, the amended draft law of the alternative to the disputes 2024 was presented in the session.
The Parliamentary Secretary Zaraian Magsi tabled the draft bill, which was adopted by the House.
It may be mentioned here that the concerned standing committee had already tabled the draft bill.
However, the amended draft law of Tax on land and cultural income presented in the house was handed over to the concerned standing committee.
The audit report tanlef tabled in the house was also handed over to the relevant standing committee.
Later, the session of provincial assembly was adjourned till January 2, 2024.
