Meeting Held to Control Prices and Prevent Load Shedding During Ramadan in Sanghar

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sanghar, presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner-I, Abdul Majeed Zahrani. The meeting focused on controlling the prices of essential commodities and preventing unnecessary gas and electricity load shedding during the holy month of Ramadan.

Addressing the meeting, ADC-I Abdul Majeed Zahrani stated that profiteering and hoarding would not be tolerated during Ramadan, and strict legal action would be taken against violators. He also stressed the need to control unannounced load shedding of gas and electricity to ensure that the public can observe their religious duties without inconvenience.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed traders, Sui Gas, and HESCO officials to avoid load shedding, especially during Sehri and Iftar hours. He also instructed all Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars to conduct regular market visits, check price lists, and impose heavy fines on shopkeepers who fail to display price lists prominently.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners from all tehsils, Assistant Director Price Control and Bureau Supply Syed Sajjad Shabbir, Additional Director Livestock Dr. Khushi Muhammad Rajput, Inspector Bureau Supply Abdul Hafeez Yousafzai, and officials from other relevant departments.
