Iranian Consulate in Karachi Holds Condolence Reference for Martyred Military Commanders and Nuclear Scientists

KARACHI: A solemn condolence reference was held at the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi in honor of the high-ranking Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists martyred in a recent Israeli attack.

The event was attended by a diverse group of prominent figures, including noted Shia and Sunni scholars, university professors, researchers, political and social personalities. Distinguished attendees included Advisor to the Governor of Sindh Mr. Mustafa, Sindh Government Spokesperson Syeda Tahseen Abidi, Ms. Sadia Gohar from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and diplomats representing Iraq, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Turkey.

Iran’s Acting Consul General in Karachi, Mr. Wahid Asghari, warmly welcomed the guests and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people and government of Pakistan, especially the Sindh Government and the Parliament of Pakistan, for standing by Iran and supporting its stance during the Iran-Israel conflict.

In his address, Mr. Asghari emphasized the deep-rooted historical, cultural, political, and religious ties between Iran and Pakistan. “The unity and cooperation between the two nations on regional and international platforms reflect the strength of their bilateral relations,” he said.

Guests were also invited to write personal messages of condolence in a memorial book, expressing their emotions and solidarity with the Iranian people during this time of grief.

The ceremony concluded with prayers and reflections, reinforcing the message of regional unity and shared values between Iran and Pakistan.
