QUETTA: The Flood Emergency Cell has been established in the National Highway Authority (NHA) Balochistan North Region during the Monsson rain seaons.
According to an official notification of the NHA Regional Office Quetta, the Flood Emergency Cell has been established to respond and cater the emergency besides extending necessary support in case of emergency.
The officers/officials would remain present at their respective sections round the clock, as per the notification.
Moreover, all the concerned departments have also been requested to coordinate with the concerned officers / officials in case of any emergency / requirement during the upcoming monsoon flood emergency situation and extend their cooperation for better management of the traffic flow on highways being sole responsibility of local administration, so that general public / commuters may not suffer during the upcoming emergency spell.
