Abbottabad — As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus organized a free teacher training workshop titled *”Effective Communication Skills for Teachers”* on July 24, 2025. The session, held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, was led by Dr. Adeel Jalal Malik, Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies.
This professional development workshop was aimed at empowering educators by enhancing their abilities in key areas such as communication, time management, and stress management. It reflected COMSATS University’s continued commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s education system through capacity-building and knowledge sharing.
Teachers from Dar-e-Arqam School & College (Abbottabad and Mansehra campuses) and Peace School & College Abbottabad actively participated in the training session. The workshop provided a platform for educators to gain valuable insights into modern classroom communication and effective teaching strategies.
The Campus Director addressed the participants, appreciated their enthusiasm, and distributed certificates to the attendees. The initiative was widely praised as a vital step toward equipping teachers with essential 21st-century skills, ultimately benefiting students across the region.
