A large-scale protest demonstration was organized by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) District Chaman against the brutal killing of party leader Hafiz Qadir Jan. The protest rally, which traversed through various main roads of the city, culminated in a massive public gathering at Sanatan Chowk. The demonstrators strongly condemned the government’s failure to maintain law and order, demanding immediate action against those responsible for the killing. Speakers at the gathering criticized the district administration’s incompetence and called for the arrest of the perpetrators. The rally was led by JUI District Ameer Maulana Abdul Manan and featured a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Tehsil Sadar General Secretary Qa, setting the tone for a passionate and determined protest. The protesters raised strong slogans, demanding justice for Hafiz Qadir Jan and an end to the prevailing lawlessness in Chaman.
