Gwadar, October 18: The Department of Agriculture Extension Gwadar has launched the “Farmer Green Card Program” to promote agricultural growth and provide direct benefits to farmers across the district.
Deputy Director Riaz Ahmed Baloch said the initiative marks “a golden opportunity for farmers to link directly with government support schemes.” He urged all farmers, orchard owners, and landholders from Ormara, Basol, and Dasht to register immediately to receive subsidies and technical assistance.
He added, “The Farmer Green Card is recognition of your hard work — a guarantee of your prosperity.” Baloch encouraged farmers to motivate their neighbors to register, saying that collective participation would attract more government development programs for Gwadar.
