The Quetta district administration observed Kashmir Black Day with deep respect and in solidarity with the Kashmiri people. On this occasion, a peaceful rally was organized under the leadership of the district administration, starting from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and concluding at Serena Chowk.

The rally was attended by a large number of participants, including Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Secretary for Information and Broadcasting of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference for Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, former advisor Mirza Shamshad, district administration officials, assistant commissioners, tribal and political leaders, and representatives from various sectors of society.

Participants carried banners and placards denouncing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The crowd raised slogans in support of Kashmir’s right to self-determination and urged the international community to take immediate notice of India’s aggression and severe human rights violations.

Speakers at the rally highlighted that October 27, 1947, marks a dark day when India forcibly sent its troops into Kashmir, violating the fundamental rights of the Kashmiri people. They emphasized that even today, the Kashmiri population continues to make sacrifices for their right to self-determination. The speakers reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Kashmiri brethren and will continue to provide full moral, diplomatic, and political support to their struggle for freedom.
