Independent Report
Dadu, 15 November 2025:
A disabled resident of Mehar, Waheed Bux Bhund, belonging to village Maso Khan Jalbani, reached the Dadu Press Club to protest what he described as severe injustice and persecution at the hands of his own brothers.
Speaking to the media, Waheed Bux alleged that his brothers, Alhoraio Bhund and Abdul Kareem Bhund, have illegally occupied property worth millions of rupees in Karachi. He further claimed that they have also taken over 7.5 acres of agricultural land located in his native village.
According to the complainant, his house has been demolished, and crops cultivated by him were forcibly taken over by the accused. He added that despite repeated pleas, the Tharari Mohabbat Police have failed to take action on his complaints.
He stated that due to continuous oppression, he is now compelled to carry a licensed weapon for protection, despite his disability.
Waheed Bux appealed to the SSP Dadu, Session Judge, Deputy Commissioner Dadu, elected representatives, and various human rights organizations to take urgent notice of his situation and ensure justice.
