Teachers’ Charter of Demands Remains Unaddressed

Quetta: The Government Teachers Association (GTA) Balochistan expressed growing concern over delays in implementing teachers’ demands. Leaders, including Provincial President Khadim Ali Bugti and Secretary General Qaem Khan Kakr, stated that despite sending the Charter of Demands to the Secretary of Education, no meaningful progress has been made.

GTA highlighted that teachers with 30-35 years of service retire without promotions, a clear violation of service rules, and warned that the lack of administrative commitment continues to harm the education sector. GTA appealed to teachers across the province to unite and support ongoing advocacy efforts to restore promotions, service rules, and basic professional rights.
