QUETTA, Nov 25 — The Chief Inspector of Mines announced that a Court of Inquiry under Section 21 of the Mines Act 1993 will investigate the recent incident at Refik Wali Coal Company in Duki, where two miners lost their lives.
A meeting chaired by Chairman Shafqat Fayyaz on November 20 instructed the committee to inspect the mine, collect evidence, and record statements. Affected individuals can provide testimony at PMDC Head Office from December 1 to December 4, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., ensuring a timely submission of the inquiry report to the Secretary of Mines.
