ISLAMABAD, Nov 29, 2025 — President Asif Ali Zardari visited the National Defence University (NDU) on Friday and addressed participants of the 27th National Security Workshop (NSW-27), a forum bringing together lawmakers, senior civil and military officers, academics and civil society representatives.
The President congratulated the participants on completing the workshop, praising their commitment to strengthening national-security literacy. He highlighted the need for informed leadership, national cohesion and integrated policymaking to address evolving security challenges.
NSW-27 focused on understanding how various elements of national power interact within the framework of Comprehensive National Security.
President Zardari also awarded certificates to the graduating participants, noting NDU’s continuing role in fostering national-level dialogue and institutional capacity.
