Seraawan: Senior politician Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani announced plans to file a constitutional petition challenging recent mineral allocations under the Mines and Minerals Act. Speaking at a consultative session with senior allies, Raisani criticized political parties for their silence on matters affecting Balochistan’s collective interests. He stated that national parties’ compromises have marginalized the province and violated the rights of its people. The petition will seek judicial review of allocations granted under the act, which Raisani claims undermines provincial control over its resources.
