Mir Zahid Rind, Conservator of Forests and Wildlife in Sibi Division, emphasized the shared responsibility of protecting forests, rare birds, and wildlife. He stated that no institution can achieve conservation goals without public support, urging citizens to report illegal tree cutting and wildlife poaching. Despite limited resources, the department has effectively safeguarded endangered species and greenery. Rind announced a tree-planting campaign scheduled for late February, encouraging every citizen to plant saplings and ensure their growth into trees. He stressed that public engagement is crucial to achieving a green and sustainable environment in Balochistan. The campaign aims to increase environmental awareness, preserve biodiversity, and ensure that rare animals and birds thrive in their natural habitats. Division Forest Officer Syed Tariq Shah was also present during the briefing with journalists.
