A spectacular off-road jeep rally was held in the scenic Kharrari mountainous area of Lasbela, drawing significant interest from youth and tourists.
Organized with the support of the district administration, the ATE Explore Off-Road Rally Season Two featured 30 vehicles from five groups competing on a challenging track filled with water crossings, sharp rocks, and sandy terrain.
Senator Asad Qasim Roonjho, the chief guest, personally drove on the track and later distributed prizes among winners. The Jehanzeb Qasim Roonjho Group secured first position, followed by the Shoaib Group and Ghanizfar Group. Aftab and Naveed groups also participated.
Senator Roonjho said such events promote positive engagement among youth and boost tourism in remote areas. Participants urged authorities to make the rally an annual event and provide basic facilities in the mountainous region. Strict security arrangements were ensured by Lasbela Police throughout the event.
