65 Motorway Police Officers Promoted to Higher Ranks in Islamabad

The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) has promoted 65 officers to higher ranks, including 54 Sub-Inspectors and 11 Inspectors. Sub-Inspectors (BS-14) were elevated to Inspectors (BS-16), while Inspectors (BS-16) received promotions to Higher Time Scale (BS-17).
The promotions were approved in a departmental committee meeting chaired by Deputy Inspector General (Human Resource Management) at the Central Police Office, Islamabad, and were formally sanctioned by Inspector General NHMP Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry. The process was carried out strictly based on rules, seniority, and merit.
IG Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry congratulated the promoted officers, emphasizing that these advancements recognize their dedication, professionalism, and performance. He urged all officers to continue serving with integrity, responsibility, and excellence. The NHMP chief also highlighted that promotions mark a key milestone, bringing added responsibilities while reinforcing the force’s commitment to public safety and efficient motorway policing.
