Gangdawah | January 18, 2026
Security concerns are rising in Gangdawah, the district headquarters, as residents increasingly feel unsafe amid growing criminal incidents. In a recent daytime incident on Double Road, just a few steps from the Gangdawah Police Station and opposite the education office, armed unidentified individuals reportedly snatched two motorcycles from citizens at gunpoint.
Sources said the robbery occurred in broad daylight, spreading fear and panic among local residents. The incident near the police station has raised questions about the effectiveness of law enforcement and public safety measures in the city. Citizens and social groups expressed deep concern over the escalating crime rate and urged authorities to ensure the protection of life and property.
Community leaders stressed the importance of deploying effective patrolling and proactive policing to restore public confidence. They warned that failure to act immediately could embolden criminal elements further, and any resulting consequences would be the responsibility of the concerned authorities. The local population has called for urgent intervention to guarantee safety, prevent future armed robberies, and maintain peace and order in Gangdawah’s urban areas.
