Jaffarabad: Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad, Khalid Khan, has emphasized that education serves as a foundation for societal advancement, reaffirming the district administration’s commitment to ensuring teacher attendance, improving educational quality, and completing development projects on time.
Chairing a meeting of the District Education Group, DC Khalid Khan reviewed monthly performance reports submitted by the District Education Officer and other officials. The session evaluated teacher attendance, addressed absenteeism concerns, and issued strict directives to ensure full compliance across all schools and colleges.
Officials also provided updates on ongoing development projects, prompting the Deputy Commissioner to call for improvements in both the speed and quality of implementation. The meeting further reviewed collaborative initiatives with non-governmental organizations, including UNICEF, aimed at enhancing educational programs and promoting student welfare throughout the district.
Discussions included teachers’ time-scale cases and administrative matters at various colleges, with authorities instructed to take swift and effective action. DC Khalid Khan underscored that negligence or laxity would not be tolerated, urging officials to perform their duties with diligence and integrity. He added that continued collaboration with UNICEF and other welfare organizations will help raise educational standards and expand opportunities for students across Jaffarabad.
