Jacobabad (Independent Report) – A severe breach has developed in the Bhaderpur Minor Canal, also known as the Saru Branch, near Thul in Jacobabad, causing irrigation water to flood local wheat fields.
Local residents said that despite notifying the Irrigation Department promptly, no officials arrived at the site. Farmers are attempting to close the breach themselves to prevent further damage. Authorities have been urged to act immediately to protect crops from extensive losses.
