Quetta:
Balochistan Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Sardar Kohyar Khan Domki on Wednesday said that Kashmir remains Pakistan’s jugular vein and the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom reflects the voice of every Pakistani heart.
In his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, he said that for decades, the people of Kashmir have been facing Indian oppression, state terrorism, prolonged curfews, enforced disappearances, and gross human rights violations, yet their resolve remains unshaken.
The minister said that women, children, and the elderly are also being subjected to brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which is a serious challenge to the conscience of the international community. He expressed regret over the silence of the United Nations, OIC, and global human rights organizations, urging them to fulfill their responsibilities and ensure the implementation of UN resolutions by granting Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
Sardar Kohyar Khan Domki said that the Pakistan Peoples Party has consistently raised its voice for Kashmir and under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan will continue extending full diplomatic, political, and moral support to the Kashmiri people at all international forums. He added that the people, armed forces, and leadership of Pakistan stand united with Kashmiris, expressing confidence that the day is not far when Kashmir will be freed from oppression
