Jaffarabad, February 23: Construction has officially begun on bridges along the crucial Dera Allah Yar–Usta Muhammad road, marking a significant step forward after decades of travel disruptions. The project was initiated under the sustained efforts and special attention of Provincial Minister for Services and General Administration, Abdul Majid Badini. This road remains a vital link for trade, social interaction, and daily commuting between the two districts.

For the past twenty years, severe floods in 2010, 2012, and 2022 repeatedly forced authorities to cut sections of the road temporarily to safeguard local communities, causing persistent travel challenges and economic setbacks. The new bridge project aims to provide a permanent, modern solution to these recurring problems.

The bridges are designed to allow floodwaters to flow naturally while protecting the road infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted traffic even during future flood events.

Local residents have lauded the initiative, commending the provincial minister and district administration for addressing a long-standing issue. Community members noted that the project will not only enhance regional connectivity but also boost trade and significantly improve daily convenience for travelers.
