Quetta, 08 March: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has underlined the pivotal role of empowering women in fostering a just, progressive, and equitable society, commending all efforts that advocate for women’s rights.
Highlighting the significance of equality and social justice, Governor Mandokhail stated that a truly fair society can only be built when women are granted equal rights and opportunities. “Equality is not a zero-sum game; it marks the foundation for transformative change necessary for a balanced and healthy community,” he remarked.
The Governor acknowledged women’s vast talent and potential, noting that limited access to opportunities has hindered their advancement. He emphasized that the measure of any society lies in how it treats its women, pointing to global trends where women increasingly assume leadership roles and transcend traditional limitations.
Governor Mandokhail further stressed that even modest initiatives to economically empower women contribute to a wider movement for equality. “The future belongs to women, not out of superiority, but because equality paves the way for progress,” he said.
He urged continued efforts to ensure women have access to education, economic resources, and decision-making positions, reinforcing that investing in women directly translates into sustainable development and societal prosperity. His remarks coincide with ongoing initiatives in Balochistan aimed at enhancing women’s participation across governance, education, and economic sectors.
