Pakistan Day Inspires Renewed Resolve for Unity, Stability and Development: Faisal Jamali

GANDAKHA: March 23, 2026: Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali, Provincial Minister for Livestock and a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, issued a special message on Pakistan Day, underscoring the historic importance of March 23. He stated that the day symbolizes the extraordinary struggle and unwavering determination of the Muslims of the subcontinent, which ultimately led to the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940.
He noted that the Lahore Resolution set the foundation for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Islamic state, which materialized in the form of Pakistan on August 14, 1947. Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali remarked that Pakistan Day is not only meant to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the past but also to renew the collective pledge to work for the country’s peace, security, and progress.
Highlighting present challenges, the provincial minister stressed the need for national cohesion, strengthening democratic traditions, and upholding the rule of law. He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party continues to stand for the protection of public rights and the promotion of social and economic justice, striving towards the vision of a welfare state.
He also called upon the youth, describing them as the nation’s most valuable resource, to focus on education and integrity in order to help Pakistan achieve the status of a developed nation.
In his concluding remarks, Sardarzada Faisal Khan Jamali extended Pakistan Day greetings to the nation and offered prayers for the country’s continued stability, prosperity, and progress.
